Fashion & Costume Design (Spring)
Milan is a city of creativity and decadence, history and modernity. The Fashion and Costume Design students will take in all Milan has to offer: from Leonardo da Vinci to Fashion Week.
The Fashion and Costume Design students will go to Milan during Fashion Week (February 23-26) and sample the best of the fashion world. Watching large projections of the catwalks on the streets of MIlan, visiting open showrooms, and window-shopping through the famous brand shops in the Golden Quarter (Quadrilatero d’Oro) along Monte Napoleone and Via della Spiga, will satisfy all fashionistas.
Museum visits include the Triennale di Milano that shows the best of Italian design and other exhibitions of interest.
The trip leaves plenty of free time to explore the other fascinating sites in Milan from the Santa Maria delle Grazie where one can view Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece The Last Supper to the most grandiose cemetery Cimitero Monumentale. Nightlife is rich with café’s and clubs.
All students receive travel passes to allow free travel throughout Milan.
