Michal was born and raised in Prague. He is a 4th year student in the Institute of Environmental Studies at Charles University in Prague, majoring in water purification and management.

He's also worked as the chief chef in the vegetarian restaurant and teahouse Amana. Michal's passions besides cooking are analog photography and rock climbing.

At the Prague Institute, he takes care of IT matters and helps with organizing and administration.
