Philosophy | Instructor
Matěj Král received his Master of Philosophy degree at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts at the Charles University in Prague. In the years 2002-2004 he studied political science and international relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences. He is currently working on his doctorate in the Department of Philosophy and Religion, College of Philosophy and Arts. He area of research is in 19th and 20th century philosophy, especially with the works of Kafka and Nietzsche. He has published articles on Kant, Nietzsche, Marx, Bush and Kafka in Svět a divadlo (World and Theatre) magazine. Since April 2005 he has been teaching philosophy and social sciences at Gymnazium Na Vitezne plani in Prague. He also led a seminar on Kafka and Nietzsche at the College of Philosophy and Arts in the academic year 2006/2007. Since Spring 2009 he has been teaching at the Prague Institute.
