History | Assistant Professor

Dr. Nancy L. Gustke grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University and received a B.S. in Interior Design. She earned a MFA at the University of Florida and a Ph.D. in History from the University of New Hampshire. Her research focus is American Intellectual history. She has taught at NC State since 1991. She has directed summer study abroad programs for ten years. Nancy says, “I am very much looking forward to teaching in Prague (summer 2010) and integrating European and World history into my American History Survey.”
